Who we are
Within the European Union, MWC Group operates through:
Manentia Wealth Consulting Group Limited
Maltese company registration number: C 80087
This entity acts as our regulated hub for EU investment services and insurance distribution.

Authorisation and permitted services
Manentia Wealth Consulting Group Limited is:
-
Authorised and regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) under the Investment Services Act (Cap. 370) to provide investment services; and

MFSA supervision covers, among other things:
-
governance and capital requirements;
-
conduct of business and client-information duties;
-
product distribution and cross-border services; and
-
ongoing reporting and oversight.
MiFID II and investor protection
As a member of the European Union, Malta applies the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive II (MiFID II) and related rules to investment firms authorised in Malta.
For clients this means, in particular, that we must:
-
Classify clients (retail, professional, eligible counterparty);
-
Assess whether services and products are appropriate or suitable for you, based on your knowledge, experience, objectives and financial situation;
-
Provide clear information on risks, benefits, costs and charges;
-
Identify, manage and disclose conflicts of interest; and
-
Maintain appropriate systems, controls and governance.
These requirements are reflected in the MFSA’s Conduct of Business rules and in our internal policies and procedures.
EU passporting and cross-border services
Under EU law, an investment firm authorised in one European Economic Area (EEA) state can, subject to notification, provide services in other EEA states based on the “European passport” (freedom of establishment and freedom to provide services).
Through Manentia Wealth Consulting Group Limited in Malta, MWC Group can provide services into a number of other EEA states on a cross-border basis and, in one case, through a local office.
Freedom of establishment – local office
We have exercised freedom of establishment in Cyprus, where we maintain a local office from which we provide services in accordance with local requirements.
